HOW TO schedule YOUR VISIT

If you’d like to schedule an in-person acupuncture treatment with me at Acupuncture First in Cleveland, Ohio, please visit their website, or click on the link in the box above.

PLANNING FOR YOUR IN-PERSON TREATMENT

In-person acupuncture treatments take place at Acupuncture First at The Fairmont Creamery Building - 2306 W 17th St #1, Cleveland, OH 44113.

New patient appointments include a thorough health history and a review of your current condition, physical exam and acupuncture treatment. These visits take approximately 90 minutes while subsequent appointments may take an hour to 75 minutes.

Additional techniques such as cupping, orthopedic massage, heat therapy, nutritional and lifestyle counseling, and therapeutic exercises may be incorporated. Herbal medicines are prescribed as needed. Herb consultations are included in the cost of the treatment, while the herbs and supplements themselves are purchased separately.

If you are a new patient, please take the time to fill out the online intake form prior to arrival in order to maximize time for treatment. The intake will be sent to you through your patient portal once you schedule your appointment.

Be sure to bring any pertinent medical records and a current list of all medications and supplements to your first appointment.

It’s a good idea to wear loose, comfortable clothing to your sessions. Please have a small snack about thirty minutes before arriving and try to refrain from exercise for 2 hours before and after your visit.

POLICIES & FEES

The price of treatments can be viewed on my scheduling page. If cost is a concern, please contact me directly and we’ll make sure you get the care you need.

Because my practice is by appointment only, your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. If you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment, please do so with a minimum of 24 hours notice. The customary fees for late cancellations will be waived for sickness.

I am not currently accepting insurance but am happy to provide you with an itemized receipt you can submit directly to your insurance company for reimbursement. I recommend checking with your insurance company to see if you are covered for acupuncture and, if so, what specific conditions your insurance company covers.
